The book can work for a child as young as a year old and as old as nine years old, depending on the child and your adjustments in the content (ages 2-6 may be the best ages). Quotations that reflect the spiritual principles are provided for the adult customizing and reading the book, either as footnotes or in a separate document. These will help guide parenting choices in ways that affirm the child's Bahá'í identity.
